DEGREE TEACHING

One objective of the Chair is to provide undergraduate and graduate courses on environmental ethics.

During the second semester of the academic year, the transversal subject "Environmental Ethics" is taught, which consists of 6 ECTS credits and is aimed at students from all undergraduate courses.

Classes take place at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the University of Alcalá and are taught by Professor Emilio Chuvieco.

SUMMER COURSE ON CONTEMPLATION OF NATURE
The 2019 edition of the summer course organized annually by the Chair of Environmental Ethics was entitled "Contemplation of nature. Ethical Implications" and was held in the Sierra de Guadarrama. [Leer más]
SUMMER COURSE 2018 - CHALLENGES TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION
The 2018 edition of the summer course on environmental ethics took place for the second consecutive year in Ávila 1,131 Active Observatory, headquarters of the Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno Foundation in Ávila. About thirty students from all over Spain worked on solving challenges to promote sustainable consumption through Design Thinking methodologies. SUMMER COURSE ON ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS 2017
The 5th edition of the summer course on environmental ethics, under the title "Environment: what do we know, what do we do?" ( what do we know, what needs to be done?), Took place in Ávila 1,131 Active Observatory on June 28, 29 and 30. In this edition, nearly 36 students from very diverse disciplines and specialities (Environmental, Biology, Geography, Engineering, Sociology, Philosophy, Law ..-) attended the activities. [Leer más]
